●Mimori Suzuko talking about the 1oth anniversary Best『RPB』

――How do you feel about the 1oth anniversary debut?

I think time past too fast, and it went smoothly. The first time meeting to team Mimorin producers, "From now on the project of Mimori Suzuko Solo Debut begin" the day of this meeting, it was a long time ago. As I was thinking why it held for a long time, the ending of μ's and Milky Holmes, the Covid period, I feel I changed a lot too......Every year, I felt something change in me, these years been through smoothly.

――There are some changes too beside the idol event

There are a lot of topic during these 10 years. And now in the 10th, as I listen to my old songs, the picture I imagine are always different. I was like this that time, that period was so busy. As rewinding, and we are here, it is so great that we all made it here.

――I think is a big deal of keeping it up to 10 years

Producers said that in the first place, "I want Mimori Suzuko Solo Project stay for 10 years", at that time I think is a long way to be there. So, I'm a bit anxious about it, but now we are all here and it is amazing. Of course, this is not the end, this 10th year is just a check-point, we still have a long way to go（笑）.

――So the 1oth anniversary Best Album『RPB』will be release in 4th May, the cocept of using the colors Red, Pink, Blue are very interesting.

Using the colors as cocept is decided from a meeting, I had a lot of thinkinig during the meeting too. Since is the Best Album, so we need to find a topic to fit in. Thinking how to pay back to the fans' supports. If I have to use one sentance to conclude those 10 years. I can't answer it, so we are kinda lost in it. But, after discussing with the staffs, most of my songs are full of warmth. So we took the first word of the Red, Pink, Blue and it became『RPB』, it may sounds simple, but I think is a great idea. Also, we let our fans to vote, it's a way of making this album with the fans, I'm assume the fans have different memory, and I want to know what the fans think about the image of the songs. Even it's just the word of colors, I'm in love with it still.

――The result of the fan voting, do it match your expectation? Or it's out of your expectation?

There are do some of the songs that I'm surprised to have.I thought 「UNIVERPAGE」will in Pink, but the fans think it should be in Red. Maybe, because of the live, there were a lot of orange, and there were tons of energetic and happy memory, so that's why they think it should be in Red. Same as「Xenotopia」, the image of the blue outfit is too remarkable, thinking it gonna be in Blue, but to the fans is in Red. Maybe the passion in live is too rich. I think if I use the others' angel to view and answer it, it's going to be some interesting result.

――Each songs have different idea, but there's goning to be some of the songs, became the tipping-point during these 10 years, if you some in mind please tell me

If it's in Red, it's gonna be「UNIVERPAGE」. Since it's the first time being the heroine and the opening song, so I worked hard on it, also performed in Fes, the people who didn't know Mimori Suzuko were now knew because of this song, and bacause of it, it's one of my signature song.I think having「UNIVERPAGE」is a huge thing in me. And in Pink......it's「Koi wa illusion」, it's a must in live, also the first time of writing lyrics. I was singing casually all along, I couldn't believe writing lyrics can be this difficult, that's what lyricist was thinking to create, it's a song that made me rethink everything.

――Do you like writing lyrics?

Writing lyrics is a thing which made my eyes brighten, it's so much fun, and I felt the difficulty in it. You need to have a huge amount of vocabulary, and so far I don't have time to boost-up......But if there's any other chance of writing lyrics, I'll appreciate it, and I'll work hard on it, I worried about if I can express the meaning fully, so I think I should boost-up, I have to be greater!

――Recently you helped harmoe and DIAOGUE+ with the lyrics

I knew harmoe well, so I wrote it smoothly, as expected writing for the other artists beside myself, it's a different kind of difficulty. If it's my song I can picture the image myself and write it down. But if I give out the lyrics, the image of the artist is going to be different than me. If so, I'll have to use the third person point of view to write, it's another kind of nervous.

――Back to the album, is there a song that is remarkable?

If it's in Blue then I think「Are Kore」is quite challenging. Sine I never had a melody like this, so most of the time I have to look at the sheet music, the skills that need to sing「Are Kore」it's like stepped inside a new area. How can I sing to make it more cute? Did I make it? Although it's hard to sing, but the MV made a very cute concept, I think this song is a step to the new Mimori Suzuko.

――And, about the new songs in『RPB』. First,「Ne、Sodesho!?」in Red, the lyricist is Aki Hata, the composer is Yamata Takahiro, also is the one in「Snow halation」

I love「Snow halation」so much, I wish Yamadaman can write a song for me, this time, I got it(笑). In this beautiful melody, there are positive messages from Aki Hata. In this 10 years, didn't go very smooth, there is that time when I couldn't meet the fans. But after that, we still walk together, this kind of message, I think it's match the situation nowaday, it's a beautiful lyrics. It felt like I'm talking to the fans who is right next to me, so I sang happily.

――「Okina Ai de Kimi o Dakishimeyo」in Pink, the lyricist is Aki Hata, the composer is Ota Masatomo, is the one in「Aitaiyo...Aitaiyo!」

The debut song is also written by those two people, during the recording, the image from「Aitaiyo...Aitaiyo!」pops out. It's very nervous, the producer said "Please make it feel more heart flutter" and, "Please make it more cute", I put more effort on it after hearing those advices. But this time, I didn't received "Please make it feel more heart flutter" "Please make it more cute" this kind of advice, but for some reason it appears in my mind, I heard the advice from the producer who is in 10 years ago. And after these 10 years, the producer was changed, but the staffs didn't change, it's like a old record, from「Aitaiyo...Aitaiyo!」, and after 10 years, it became「Okina Ai de Kimi o Dakishimeyo」, the scale become bigger(笑). And it will get bigger, it's a huge project.

――The lyrics in「Sukida! Sukida!」is very remarkable

It can spicy up the concert, I want to sing it in a shouting OK concert.

――「Suzu ga Naruhi」in Blue, the lyricist is Nagamura Kanata, the composer is Sato Junichi in fhána, it is the first time collaborate with Sato-san right?

ata-san wrote for『Revue Starlight』's songs, but wirting for solo is the first time. The lyricist is also Nagamurr Kanata-san, it's a starlight collab song. When I listen the demo for the first time, my tears escaped......I felt the happiness, a melody to celebrate the 10th anniversary. And, the lyrics from Kanata-san is amazing. Kanata-san is the same age as me, so we talk in private too, so it's like talking my feeling through her lyrics, it really got me, and made me cry non-stop. I felt the message from Kanata-san. This song is full of chrous and harmony, actually Kanata-san join in too(笑).

――『RPB』release in 4th May, the MV series『Mimori Suzuko Music Video Collection』also will release too

It included 21 songs, a huge volume! I love watching other artists' MV, so I love to film mine too, especially, spending the whole day with the Mimorin Team, it was so much fun. The MV shooting, is from the morning to the night, so spending the time together made me so happy. So, we have a lot of memory, as I watch back the MV, I think of a lot of memory, it was so much fun.

――Is there any remarkable things?

When「Sakiwafuhana」's MV shooting in Kagawa, we ate udo during our break.『Yuki Yuna is a Hero』event was also held in Kagawa, and the other member said in LINE "We are eating udo now". I was like "Ah! I want to eat too!"(笑). So, I dragged someone with me and ate it. There is more memory, during the filming of "Egaonokimihe" was so hot, the cicada was chirping, but during the filming of「Xenotopia」was very cold, I put on some warmer too......there were a lot of things happened.

――You ate Takoyaki too, right?

It's the period in「Aitaiyo...Aitaiyo!」! Since one of the staffs worked in a Takoyaki shop before, so we did it during filming(笑). Filming MV is a lot of fun. This MV series, throwback to every MV, there are comments in it too, please check it out.

――Is there anything in the MV series that you want people to notice?

It's my bang which change from time to time. The bang which become more thin from day to day(笑). You can feel the time changed from the hair style and make-up. Which means, purely, it's fun letting people notice my changes.

――「みもパ！10周年スペシャル」held in 24th June

I invited some guests, I'm looking forward to meet them. Karaoke for Mimorin, the special live which only can be listen in「みもパ」, and game section, some activities that make our interact closer, so please show out. There will be "Shining Mimorin" in the concert, but also the "Nature Mimorin". So please come(笑).

――You said that the 10th year is just a check-point, is there anything you want to do in the future?

There are not much interaction with the fans during those years, so I want to create more chance to interact. Everthough we have online concert, but instead of that, I want to meet them in person. And, I want to hold a tour, I want to meet the fans who can't come to Tokyo, I want to eat some delicious food too......

――Is that part of the job?

You have to eat delicious food so that you have strength to work(笑)! Also, I won't let my fans disappointed, I'll practice everyday.

We've come to the 10th years, is because of the fans, so we are here now. Watching Mimori Suzuko during these 10 years, there's a lot of people who support me, the Mimorin who you guys fall for, to keep them going on, I have to be a artist with more passion, and more feminine, I have to work hard, and spend times with you guys happily.「Thank you for your supports」and, give you all a hug filled with love!
